ART + MUSIC
FOR THE JOY OF IT
Nell's art is an exploration of mother nature, using painting and music to observe Earth's beauty, interesting relationships, and the presence of nature in the modern world.
She especially likes to explore the complexities that have developed along side of technological advancement and the new relationships that have evolved and blended into what feels natural to humans, and the adaptations being made by earth's special beings. She especially loves painting trees and making videos.
"My goal is to create music and art that people can truly appreciate supporting the preservation of life on Earth, and document one perspective of self expression during these rapidly changing times." NL

This tree painting by artist and songwriter, Nell LeBlanc, is named after the bristlecone pines that grow high in the White Mountains of eastern California. These trees are several thousand years old and deserve some special attention. The Methuselah tree is named after the oldest known human in the Bible's old testament, at 969 years. The tree has him beat however, at 4,852 years old. The tree’s identity is protected to save it from vandalism. Keep an eye out for special appearances from Gwen the bunny who helped with the video as well.
